Wokha Circle Students’ Union felicitation programme for students

Felicitation programme for 20 students who had completed advance diploma computer course in collaboration with Zagreus Computer Institute (ZCI) Wokha was organised by Wokha Circle Students’ Union (WCSU) on July 3.

A press release from WCSU media cell stated that, Chonbenthung Ezung SDO (C) Wokha speaking on the occasion as special guest appreciated the initiative of WCSU for students’ welfare in the district by sponsoring students to avail free computer certificate application to 20 students. 

He spoke on current demand of skilled youths and apprised the present generation need to think out of the box and learn to survive with having new system of approach and solve unemployment problem in the society by taking up manual works, stating that no job was big or small enough if one love the work and profession.

While wishing the students a bright future, he also called upon the WCSU and village chairmen of Wokha Circle areas to look forward in doing yeomen services as Wokha town the district headquarter was under its jurisdiction.  President WCSU C. Longshithung Yanthan in his welcome speech acknowledged that success of two years service towards the students in providing free computer course was all through collective effort, where he also thanked ZCI managing director. ZCI managing director Benithung Humtsoe in his short message acknowledged the students community and assured to support the welfare of students community.

Various chairmen from Wokha Circle also spoke on the occasion and committed to assist the union in all their work plans.

The programme was chaired by Chijamo E Tungoe finance secretary WCSU, invocation by

Nzanthung Humtsoe associate pastor Humtso Baptist Church, and Jonjibemo Tsopoe general secretary WCSU pronounced vote of thanks while benediction was done by Eyingbeni M Erui youth director WVBC.
