Wokha SVEEP choreography contest

District administration Wokha, in collaboration with Adolescent Girls’ Club (AGC), Wokha, organized a special awareness program under the Systematic Voters' Education and Electoral Participation (SVEEP) campaign for the ensuing Lok Sabha 2019 elections, at police point Wokha on March 30.

According to a DIPR report, during the event, a choreography competition for adolescent girls was held, participated in by five AGCs.
Senior supervisor, CDPO Office Wokha gave the key note address. AGC Tsumang, Etsutchuka and Blue Hill Colony were adjudged the first, second and third place winners respectively. SDO (C) Wokha, Chonpenthung Ezung gave away the prizes to the winners. EAC & nodal officer SVEEP, Imtinungla Longkumer proposed the vote of thanks.

DIMAPUR: Under the Systematic Voters’ Education and Electoral Participation (SVEEP) campaign 2019, Wokha district administration initiated ‘e-modod’ (e-help) under which 16 volunteers have been identified from different wards and colonies, mostly youth. 
According to a DIPR report, these youth will help and facilitate citizens, especially senior citizens, and differently abled persons in accessing various technology initiatives of the Election Commission of India, like voter helpline applications, NVSP, cVIGIL etc, from the nearest Common Service Centre. The training required for volunteers and Common Service Centre has been imparted. Senior Citizens Forum and PwD Association have also been intimated about this initiative.
