Woman entrepreneur nominated president of IGHF Delhi fair autumn

For the first time, a women entrepreneur from Nagaland, Jesmina Zeliang has been nominated as president of reception committee- IHGF-Delhi Fair Autumn 2018. 

She is also one of the members of committee of administration of Export Promotion Council for Handicrafts (EPCH).

A press release by executive director EPCH, Rakesh Kumar said Jesmina has appointed as president for the smooth functioning of the mega event- 46th edition of IHGF Delhi Fair Autumn 2018 scheduled to be held from October 14-18 at India Expo Centre and Mart, Greater Nodia, NCR Delhi. At the expo, more than 3000 Indian exhibitors including 900 permanent marts, drawn from all over India will be exhibiting home, lifestyles, fashion and textiles products spread over in 15 halls covering 1,90,000 sq. mtrs. space with  over 2000 designs and styles. 

Jesmina company M/s Heirloom Naga from Nagaland is doing excellent work in increasing exports of cane and bamboo and artisanal handcrafted textiles from the North East since 1993 by participation in various International fairs/exhibitions, the release stated. She is actively engaged in empowering women from marginal communities and tribes in North East of India. 

It may be noted that EPCH, which is a nodal agency for promotion of exports of handicrafts from the country to various destinations of the world, has been organizing the IHGF-DELHI FAIR or the last 24 years.
