St. Joseph Parish Women Society (SJPWS), Chumukedima, Dimapur conducted training session on dialogue under the aegis of Peace Channel (PC), with Vitono Haralu project coordinator as resource person on November 21. A press release from Peace Channel desk stated that, Vitono emphasised on how dialogue can create a positive change in the given situation, as an essential tool for breaking down barriers in the society.

She said the intention of dialogue was not to advocate but to enquire, not to argue but to explore, not to convince but to discover.

She also said that there was a great need for women to get involved in the process of peace building and be part of the negotiating table in lobbying, facilitating and mediating for the larger interest of the women community.

Earlier, Emilo Martha welcomed the gathering, Sr. Rose said the invocation and the closing prayer by Agnes.
