Workshop on skill for livelihood held

Awareness workshop on skill for livelihood generation was held at deputy commissioner office conference hall, Kiphire on July 10, wherein the skill-landscape of the district was presented by Viliho Awomi, WWO. 

According to DIPR report, Viliho said that Mahika Shakti Kendra (MSK) is generally women folk empowerment centre which is administered by the state government. She said MSK was established in Kiphire this year in the month of March and in Kiphire district there are 118 government schools where 29 private schools with a total students of 17472 both in government school and private schools. 
Viliho Awomi said that this year with the partnership and collaboration of district administration the department of Employment Skill Development & Entrepreneurship Nagaland and the State Rural Livelihood Mission organised skill mela at Pungro and Kiphire and during which twelve training partners attended and imparted different skills to young people on how they can be self-reliant in the future.
