The valedictory function of the workshop on “Building capacities for taking forward Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) in Nagaland” was held at Hotel Vivor, Kohima on November 14.

According to DIPR, speaking on the occasion, Minister of Planning and Co-ordination, Neiba Kronu said that the seminar was organized to build capacities of various departments in order to forward and achieve SDGs. He acknowledged the UNDP for coming forward to impart the training to the officials of the state government and also NITI for helping in various ways to take the SDGs forward in Nagaland along with the rest of the country. However, he hoped that the two day workshop would be a brainstorming exercise and lift the minds of the officers and the participants to bring the state at par with the rest of the country. He encouraged everyone to join hands to achieve the SDGs in order to bring the people to a better living standard.
