Nagaland deputy chief minister, Y Patton, has appealed to the people of the state to maintain calm amidst coronavirus scare. According to DCM media cell, Patton maintained that the “virus is here to stay, and the only way to stay safe is adhering to self discipline and cooperating with the frontline warriors”. He said that the biggest challenge would be to do away with the stigmatization associated with the disease. Calling upon the people to come forward and avail treatment if they experienced coronavirus-like symptoms, Patton said that early detection could break the chain of spreading and early recovery of those infected.
