Y Patton condolence

Deputy chief minister of Nagaland and BJP, BLP leader Y Patton expressed sorrow at the demise of late C. Yilumo Kithan, ex-candidate of 37 A/C Wokha from Yikhum village on January 12. 

In a condolence message, Patton recalled that late Kithan joined govt. service in 1954 and served the government in various capacities including officer on special duty, Nagaland House Shillong and retired from government service as additional secretary, Nagaland. He was also the founding member and spokesman of CANSSEA and founding member of Kohima Lotha Baptist Church. Patton stated that, he later went on to contest in Nagaland general assembly election in 1993 from 37 Tiyi A/C as an independent candidate. 
Patton stated that C. Y. Kithan was a courageous, sincere and humble public servant and above all a wonderful human being. 
Stating that his demise was not only a loss for the Lotha community but for the Naga society in general, Patton lamented that it will be difficult to fill the vacuum which he has created. 
Patton along with his family members conveyed deepest condolences to the bereaved family and pray for the departed noble soul to rest in peace.
