Y. Patton extends Moatsu greetings

Deputy chief minister and BJP leader, Y. Patton has greeted to the Ao community on the occasion of Moatsu. Patton in a greeting message said the Ao tribe celebrates their premier Maotsu festival for three-days on the first week of May, every year to mark the completion of the sowing season.

He further acknowledged the Ao community for preserving their rich cultural heritage and expressed hope that the younger generation will carry on with their rich tradition. Patton along with BJP legislators, while wishing the Aos a prosperous Moatsu festival, also prayed that the festival brings cultural integration with a sense of unity and bond of brotherhood within the Ao community and among the Naga community in general.
