Yimchungrü Akherü Arihako (YAA) has informed all absentee teachers at various government schools without applying leave during YAA educational tour to report on July 17 and 19 at Shamator and Pungro respectively.

A press release from YAA president, S. Yansomong Yimchunger and general secretary, Achung Jangleh stated that, this included teachers currently undergoing professional courses and those engaged with “substitutes” as well. YAA stated that this was to authenticate those genuine teachers who were undergoing professional courses duly permitted by DoSE.
YAA has informed the said teachers to produce any of the official communication/order duly issued by the department/institution for validation.
YAA stated that, in the event of failure to produce/report on the aforementioned dates, those cases will be construed as “truant” and that YAA shall not own responsibility in event of any eventuality that may arise due to wilful dereliction of official duty as government servant.
Furthermore, YAA asked all teachers who have been selected by the department including those undergoing in private/outside the state during the academic session of 2019-21 to submit a photocopy of the permission order in their respective institution without delay.
YAA also reminded all concerned that YAA still stands firm on its resolution “no proxy teacher” and “no work, no pay” in the entire Yimchungrü’s jurisdiction henceforth. In this regard, all SMCs and constituent units are asked to remain vigilant and to be proactive in their respective schools, stated the release.
