Reacting to the April 5 statement, issued by information and publicity wing of NNC (PB) led by Z. Royim, the Yimchungrü Regional Council (YRC) has expressed shock and dismay, while terming it a “big lie” that Ahoshe Yimchungrü, president of YRC was not known to Z. Royim/party.

Also terming it as a “sin in front of God and men”, midan peyu Sheto, president Yimchungrii Women Federation (YWF) Majila, region executive members-- Hothrogba, Mükam and Jumong, YEF members-- Tsüsola Yimchungrü and Thromjula Yimchungrü, in a joint statement claimed that during the November 8, 2015 region meeting, Ahoshe was elected as president, after the demise of region president Kiumukam, in the presence of Z. Royim with all executive members and women federation members.

However, they said this fact of reality, denied and not known by Z. Royim and party was “a real lie and sin in the history Yimchungrü people and YRC in particular.”

The signatories said that the “big lie and sin of issuing a press release to cover his shame as GB and VDB member in his village cannot be covered or done away with it as it is well known to all the people in Yimchungrü region.”

With regard to warning of taking “stringent action”, the signatories said they have taken it as a very serious matter of open threat and intimidation. “But we are ready to face for the truth and the Naga rights,” they stated.

The signatories also made it clear to all concerned, that Z. Royim and party will be held responsible if anything happens to any of its genuine members and NNC leaders.

The members said they were ashamed to note that “there are full of lies for those who run after chair and money, by hook and by crook and the worst are full of hatred, jealousy and corruptions in Naga political affairs.”

However, “truth will remain truth and our God the truth will judge the guilty and punish the National sin,” they added.
