YNA to conduct CMSW in Namsang area

Young Namsang Association (YNA) has called upon all Namsang villagers to actively participate in the monthly community mandatory social work (CMSW) which has been scheduled for January 18 in Namsang area. 

A press release from YNA president Dr. Phongshak Phom and general secretary, Chingloi Phom stated that, CMSW programme is for 3 consecutive years subject to revamp or discontinuation. This has been organised with an aim to create social cohesiveness, recover the forest lost in the last 2-3 decades, activity related to cleanliness, sanitation and taking community ownership by maintaining roads and public properties. 
YNA stated that, all members of the village must participate in the monthly community mandatory social for at least 3 hours from 6 a.m to 9 a.m on the third Saturday of every month. However, YNA informed that children below 14 years and school goers will be exempted.
YNA also requested villagers not to organise any social gathering or programme within Namsang coinciding with the CMSW. It also invited all members of the village to co-operate with whatever works the committee assigns.
