DIMAPUR, JUN 8 (NPN) | Publish Date: 6/8/2019 11:16:25 AM IST

Yimchungrü Tribal Council (YTC) has reminded all Naga political groups (NPGs) to refrain from bloodshed/kidnapping/intimidation within its jurisdiction in order to create congenial atmosphere.

In a press release, YTC secretary info & publicity, Mathew K Janger, stated that peaceful co-existence was pre-requisite for the uplift of the people. YTC also referred to the December 18, 2007 ENPO resolution, which resolved that “there should be no bloodshed, threats, intimidation or any form of violence within ENPO jurisdiction.” Further, calling for unitedly working for the benefit of the Nagas, YTC hoped that the ongoing political dialogue between Centre and NPGs would soon reach a settlement and create a peaceful atmosphere.
