Zunheboto and Tseminyu district board meetings

The monthly Zunheboto District Planning and Development Board meeting was held at DC’s conference hall, Zunheboto on September 10.

According to DIPR, the meeting started with the introduction of Administrative probation officers and review of the last meeting. DC and vice chairman DPDB Zunheboto, Shanavas C, highlighted the forthcoming Zunheboto district inter-departmental sports which will be held from October 24 to 26, for which he sought the cooperation of all the Heads of Offices in the district. CMO Zunheboto highlighted the measles campaign being held at Zunheboto and thanked the District Administration for their cooperation, and for mobilizing the public and sensitizing people on the campaign. 

Tseminyu: The monthly meeting of the Tseminyu SDPDB was held at DBs customary court of ADC Tseminyu on September 10.

A DIPR report stated that ADC and vice Chairman SDPDB, Nokchasashi Ao, chaired the meeting. The ADC informed the House about the program to conduct SDPDB meetings in different places in the sub-division. The agenda with regard to disaster problems affecting the farmer’s fields/crops etc. was discussed in the meeting, and the ADC instructed the concerned officers to make all necessary preparations for assistance and submit reports to the higher authorities at the earliest. John Wesley Magh, BDO Tseminyu gave a detailed presentation on various schemes being implemented for the benefit villagers under Tseminyu RD Block. The meeting also deliberated on the vehicular movement problem that is being faced by the people of Tseminyu due to the construction works of NH-2. In this connection the House decided to remind the road construction company to see that the existing road for vehicular movement should be maintained properly during the entire construction period for safety of the citizens.
