Zunheboto to host ANCSU conference

Three-day, 19th biennial general conference of All Nagaland College Students Union (ANCSU) will be hosted by Zunheboto from November 6 to 9 at Zunheboto Government College on the theme “Transcendence”. 
Addressing media persons on Friday, organizing committee convenor, Ahito Achumi said that they have invited 25 delegates from all 41 affiliated colleges and other associated colleges and will be attended by thousands of delegates. 
Co-convenor, Kesosul Christopher Ltu said that advisor School Education, K T Sukhalu will be the chief host, chief minister Neiphiu Rio as introductory guest and Kuzholuzo Nienu MLA as cultural guest. 
Minister of Higher and Technical Education and Tribal Affairs, Temjen Imna Along and advisor Science and Technology, NRE and IT, Mmhonlumo Kikon will grace the conference as valedictory guests. 
Interaction on the scholarship issues, Naga political talk and other social issues will be deliberated at the conference. 
The three-day conference will have cultural presentation, tug of war signifying peace, selection of Miss ANCSU, pole climbing, interaction sessions and debate session on the topic “the impact of social media hampering the younger generation”. 
Election of new office bearers will also be conducted where nominations will be opened during the conference for all the affiliated colleges.  
ANCSU president Katho P Awomi has extended invitation all Colleges to come together and celebrate the togetherness.
