Zunheboto youth trained on poultry rearing

A Skill Training of Rural Youth (STRY) on “Poultry Rearing and Management” Krishi Vigyan Kendra (KVK), Zunheboto, Nagaland University, was inaugurated on March 18 at the training hall of  KVK, Zunheboto,  in association with State Agricultural Management and Extension Training Institute (SAMETI) Nagaland and National Institute of Agricultural Extension Management (MANAGE) Hyderabad. 

A press release from senior scientist & head, KVK, Nagaland University, Lumami, Dr. Rakesh Kumar Chaurasia, stated that a brief introduction to the six-day program was delivered by Subject Matter Specialist (Animal Science), Dr. Z Nongothung Ezung. 

Dr. Rakesh requested the rural youth to get involved in the Poultry rearing skill training program which, he said, will help them to rear poultry and create a source of income. He further encouraged the youth to come forward to avail Mudra loans which can be availed easily from nearby banks.
