ZYF condemns; KIN appeals

Zeliangrong Youth Front (ZYF) while condemning the September 6 firing incident has demanded for an impartial enquiry into the matter and demarcate the boundary base on traditional land boundary between different tribes of Nagaland once and for all.    

In a condemnation note, ZYF media and publicity cell asked the government of India and state government of Nagaland to “prove its worth of existence” by immediately booking those persons or groups responsible for “unlawful burning down” of the village. 
ZYF further stated that Zelianrong people were law abiding citizens and will wait but cautioned that any negative consequences due to the negligence of the competent authority shall be the responsibility of governments of India and Nagaland.
KIN: Kuki Inpi Nagaland (KIN) in a press statement through its president, L L Kuki has appealed to both the conflicting groups to cease violent activities in the spirit of love and brotherhood. It also appealed to the district administration and state government to speed up favourable action to solve the dispute and restore peace in the affected area.
