“Dreams and Chaos”, a web series adapted from the novel “Dreams and Chaos” written by Sentilong Ozukum, has been officially nominated for various titles-- “Best Web Series” at Kashi Indian International Film Festival Awards (KIIFFA), to be held at Sharda University in Greater Noida, IMS (University Courses Campus) in Ghaziabad and Hansraj College in Delhi from April 2 to 4.

In an exclusive interaction with Nagaland Post, “Dreams and Chaos” sequel director Bendang Walling, on behalf of his entire team, expressed his delight and honour at the web series being nominated in an Indian international film award. He said when one used God’s given talent, God worked in mysterious ways.

He maintained that winning or losing award did not matter, but just at being nominated was in itself more than enough. He said he wanted the nomination to be a source of motivation for the youth to realise that there were fields in life which one could explore and take up as a profession, and not just as fun, adding that government jobs were not the only way to feed a family.

Dimapur Ao Baptist Arogo (DABA) Youth Ministry youth director Jungshimanen said the ministry decided to go ahead in accepting the nomination so as to hopefully promote and pave the way for better rewards for cast members and production team. He hoped and prayed that the nomination would help the entire production team in their future careers.

Speaking on how the sequel was created and filmed, Walling explained that the DABA Youth Ministry had actually no plans to create a sequel. He revealed that the actual budget that was spent on filming of the sequel was actually meant for outreach ministry.

However, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, he said they were not able to do so, which paved the way for drama club of the ministry to shoot the sequel. He pointed out that “Dreams and Chaos” was the first ever web series created by DABA Youth Ministry.
