‘Letter for Strangers’ released

A book titled “Letters for Strangers” written by Sentisuba, was formally released by Dr. T. Jamedi Longkumer, Assistant Professor, Philosophy, Dimapur Government College at his residence on February 11. Releasing the book, he remarked that the works in the book are ‘little bubbles of pure joy’. Stating that ‘Letters for Strangers’ was filled with the life-expressions of a soul filled with open innocence, he said that “the author, through his pen nudges us to reimagine the self, the other and their myriad encounters through the prism of possibilities.”

The author, Sentisuba is currently pursuing his master’s degree in Genetics and Plant Breeding from Nagaland University. He is fascinated by the Great Renaissance and is an avid chai drinker, his favourite writers include Arundhati Roy, Pablo Neruda and the random quirky paragraph ‘authors’ of reader’s digest.

‘Letters for Strangers’ comprises of 55 poems including three prose pieces namely ‘Scarlet Pimpernel’, ‘Otsu and I’, ‘Unfinished’ and further divided into three sections. The book is the 36th publication of Pen Thrill Publication House. The book will be available at The Common Room, Crossword, Bible House, Made in Nagaland Centre, Gutouch in Kohima and online at ilandlo and Amazon.

Launched on December 3,1990. Nagaland Post is the first and highest circulated newspaper of Nagaland state. Nagaland Post is also the first newspaper in Nagaland to be published in multi-colour.
