5-day training prog inaugurated at CoVSc&AH

Five-day short-term training programme on “clinico-pathological techniques and their interpretation for animal disease diagnosis” was inaugurated at College of Veterinary Sciences and Animal Husbandry (CoVSc&AH), Jalukie, Peren, Nagaland on February 16. According to a press release, the training programme was organised as part of the skill development training for field veterinarians of line Department.

Dean, CoVSc&AH, Prof. AK Sangwan emphasised that the training programme would provide platform for field veterinarians to learn and update their understanding of techniques and interpretation in better diagnosis and treatment of animal diseases.

Gracing the inaugural function as special guests, DC Peren, Sentiwapang Aier and addl. DC Jalukie, Dr. Tinojongshi Chang congratulated the organisers and hoped that the programme would benefit field veterinarians to update their knowledge on better disease diagnosis.

Vice chancellor, Central Agricultural University, Imphal and Prof. RK Saha, director (Extension Education), Central Agricultural University, Imphal also spoke at the inaugural programme. 

Earlier, associate professor and head, Dept. of Veterinary Medicine and Training coordinator, Dr. Gunjan Das proposed vote of thanks. 14 VAS from different district of Nagaland has participated in the training programme.
