ANCSU reminds govt of its 40-day ultimatum

 DAll Nagaland College Students’ Union (ANCSU) has reminded the state government of its 40-day ultimatum it had served on February 21, to send 110 asst. professor posts under higher education department to the Nagaland public service commission (NPSC).

In a reminder to the commissioner & secretary, Higher & Technical Education, ANCSU vice president Inato Y Chisho and general secretary Imnameren N Jamir expressed dismay that even after the expiry of the ultimatum no adequate measures were taken to address the demand. Stating that it was “displeased by the delay”, ANCSU reiterated that 110 asst. professor posts be sent for requisition to NPSC at one go. 

Meanwhile, ANCSU has acknowledged the setting up of nodal cell for implementing all scholarship schemes and also appointing the principals in district colleges without any delay as it demanded.
