A press release by  PRO ( Defence) stated that during the event, the Army extended logistical support to the district officials in executing their duties towards the locals.  The teams reached out to remote villages of Redi, Reding, Yaja, Gumsing Taying and Ojugo and delivered  documents to the villagers at their door-step.

The two day campaign facilitated more than 250 villagers in registration for aadhar card, birth certificates, permanent residence certificates and other important documentations.  The releae stated that the  initiative by both agencies saved the villagers from undertaking an arduous and difficult journey of over 250 kilometres to the District Headquarters.

The local population and district administration appreciated the efforts of Army in ameliorating the hardships of the villagers, the release added.
