AR conducts various activities

 Assam Rifles under the aegis of Inspector General of Assam Rifles (IGAR-North) has been conducting various humanitarian work across the state. Phek Bn: Phek battalion on May 2 took the initiative of integrating village guards of Phek under flagship programme of “Securing Own Borders”. The integration mainly started with honing skills at firing, enhancement of basic battle drills, development of technical acumen and training on basic first aid, stated a press statement by Assam Rifles. Kiphire Bn: As part of its outreach program to promote modernization in villages through civic action initiative, Kiphire Battalion of Assam Rifles gifted computer with accessories to Langzanger Village, Kiphire district, Nagaland on April 30. Z u n h e b o t o B n : Zunheboto Battalion of Assam Rifles undertook installation of portable toilets under AR Civic action Programme 2020-21 on April 30 at Zunheboto Town
