ARK Foundation on state TB prog

Access to Rights and Knowledge (ARK) Foundation has urged upon Nagaland State Tuberculosis (TB) programme under the flag ship programme of National Health Mission (NHM) Nagaland to continue its effort to eliminate TB by strengthening the TB/HIV correlation, ensuring mass awareness, better diagnostics and treatment.
In a press release, ARK Foundation president, Ketho Angami also suggested the state TB programme to include 3HP for TB prevention in its upcoming plans.
The Foundation has also lauded the state programme of being awarded the second best performing position in the small state category of the NTEP 2019 by Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, government of India.
The release informed that ARK Foundation, is an advocacy group that work towards holding the programme and the government accountable for failures on the TB, HIV and Viral Hepatitis programme in the state and nationally.
