Assam Rifles conduct various activities across state

Various battalions of Assam Rifles under the aegis of Headquarters of Inspector General of Assam Rifles-North (IGAR-N) conducted various programmes and assisted the public and civil administration at different locations across Nagaland.

Dimapur Bn: Dimapur battalion provided assistance to civil administration by setting-up tent at Primary Health Centre (PHC), Chümoukedima to accommodate a bio safety sample collection booth facility.

Shamator Bn: Shamator battalion installed four solar street lights in the border village of Wensoi under Noklak sub-division. Meanwhile, on information of a fire incident in Noklak village on June 18, the battalion rushed to the site and douses off the fire. Shamator battalion also provided basic essentials.

Kiphire Bn: Kiphire battalion attended a critically ill patient at a border village of Tukhinkiu, Tuensang. Medical staff from COB Thongsonyu undertook screening and evaluation of the patient for COVID-19 symptoms. No symptoms were found and the patient was resuscitated with timely medical care, informed AR.
