Awareness and sensitisation on Covid-19 vaccination was conducted on February 28, at Zunheboto Town Baptist Church, Aizuto. 

A press release by district media officer, CMO Zunheboto, Shekho Sophie, stated that CMO, Dr. K Akaho, appealed to all congregations to come forward and get vaccinated and not to miss the opportunity. 
He further encouraged the gathering to not believe in the misconceptions about the vaccine from social media. 
He further delivered introduction on Coronavirus, symptoms, modes of transmission, prevention, and also spoke on the vaccine that was approved, and detailed explanation on Covishield vaccine and how doses were administered. 
He also encouraged the congregations to get vaccinated in order to stay safe and to protect oneself, family and neighbours. 
He requested citizens above 60 years and citizens between 45-59 years with co morbidities or diseases subject to certification by a registered medical practitioner.
