Baby show competition organised in Phek to instil cultural values

Phek district administration and District Level Centre for Women (DLCW)-Mahila Shakti Kendra (Beti Bachao Beti Padhao) Phek organised “Baby show competition”, an online photo contest with the objective to instil cultural values in the new generation. 

A press release by DLCW-MSK Phek stated that, altogether 40 participants took part where results were declared on Thursday. The entries of the contestants were from the age group of three years and below with traditional attire as the dress code. Results of various categories of the competition were declared on August 6.  

Three-year old Thsurhe Ngouri from Meluri town won the “most attractive baby”. Unu Naroh (two-year) was declared the “most active baby”, Ajolu Kapu (three year) won the “sunniest smile baby”,  Kelete-o Ritse (two year) as the “most photogenic baby”, while Tsutso Khusoh, a five-month old weighing 9 kgs won the “healthiest baby.”

Eniu Kronu (one year and four months) and Atsalalosie Nyusou (one year) were adjusted the winners of the “best dressed baby girl and boy”, while Alulu Venuh (nine months and half) and Enito Nusoh (one year and three months) were declared “most photogenic baby and mom & baby and dad & baby” categories.

Other winners included Blessy Mero (Two and half years) won the “pretty angel baby”, while Rutsa Katiry (eight months) won the “most energetic baby”, and Amanda Nienu (two years) won the “Sparkling eyes smiles”. Winners will be awarded with cash prize and certificates.
