A biography on Rev. Dr. K. Imo Aier, under the title “Khristar Walunir Ka”, written by Tiala Imchen, was launched by chief editor, Tir Yimyim, K Temjen Jamir, on September 13, at the residence of Rev. Dr. Imo Aier.

Addressing the gathering after launching the book, Temjen regarded Rev. Dr. K. Imo Aier as a pioneer and a powerful leader. He asserted that the reverend took bold steps as a leader, that no Naga had ever taken before. Temjen also shared about the past stories and glories of the reverend, who not only shared the gospel in India, but also abroad.

Speaking on the book, author, Tiala Imchen, hoped that the book would be a blessing for all, especially for those who were on the process of writing a “thesis”. She further maintained that to write a biography of a living person was the most difficult task for an author, but however stated that it was a blessing for her to get the opportunity to write about Rev. Dr. Aier.

Edward Sinha, to the post of general secretary for two decades.

He also stated that Rev. Aier, as one of the indigenous inheritors of the American Baptist Mission works, with having come of age in Church administration and Baptist practices and polity, to becoming as a link figure from the distant mission of the Baptist International Ministries (BIM), USA, to the region of North East India.

Further, in the book, prominent figures such as Dr. SC Jamir, Chubatemjen Ao, Rev. Bonny Resu, P Ramesh Kumar, Akkas Ali, Rev. P Anung, Dr. Chubatola Aier, Rev. Ben Chan, Rev. L Kari Longchar etc., shared their stories of encounter with the reverend.
