Brahma Kumaris celebrate 85th anniv

Brahmakumaris Kohima centre organised a programme to celebrate the 85th anniversary of Brahma Kumaris on the theme “Global Cooperation for a Better World” at Angami Public Organisation hall on March 6.

A press release by BK Kohima centre stated that, Angami Public Organisation president, Dr Kepelhousie Terhuja; Lotha Hoho vice-chairman, Jonas Yanthan; principal secretary, Parliamentary Affairs Department, V.Shashank Shekhar and Peace Channel member, Garrol Lotha were the chief speakers and guests of the event. Meanwhile, special video messages from Charlie and Jayanti, based in Brahmakumari centres, Australia and London were played and Sumi cultural song and skit based on the theme were also presented by students. Earlier, BK Kohima Centre incharge BK Rupa delivered welcome address. Further, Angami Youth Organisation, president, Kekhrie Pfukha; APO vice-president, K.T.Ville; Western Angami Public organisation former president, Vikehielie Victor; Sumi Totimi Hoho president, Piholi and others were felicitated.
