Changlangshu Aoleang Trofeo concludes

The Aoleang Trofeo, Changlangshu for volleyball men and women organized by Modern Warriors Club, Oyoang was held from April 5 to 7 at Bangthet ground, Changlangshu with vice president VDB Association Mon district, M. Pheakmai Konyak as the special guest. 

In the volleyball men, 28 AR Changlangshu post emerged as the champions and EMC Kheye as runners-up. While in volleyball women, KGBV Hostel, Bumei emerged as the champions and Zenith Rangers, Shahyu as runners-up. The trophies and cash to winners were presented by captain Manoj 28 Assam Riffle, Changlangshu post.

In his speech, the special guest encouraged all participating teams to play in fair games through sportsmanship in significance of Konyak Aoleang Festival. 

The programme started with invoking of God’s blessings by pastor CBC, A. Khoazang, welcome address was delivered by president Modern Warriors Club, Oyoang, C.B. Moba, W. Sangti Changjoang VC chairman, B.N Wanmai Head GB and B. Wanmai VC secretary delivered short speeches. Vote of thanks was delivered by advisor MWC, K. Ngaba and the tournament concluided with a prayer by deacon CBC, P.C. Talen.
