Chiephobozou gets public library

Chiephobozou public library, a public library comprising of recreational as well as educational books was inaugurated at marketing complex, Chiephobozou town on October 16. 

According to DIPR report, while inaugurating the public library, special guest, PS to chief minister, Nagaland Neiketouzo Kengurüse appraised the gathering on the importance of a public library in the town and appreciated the efforts of the team working behind in putting the library together. He expressed delight in having such library in the area as it was an asset for the community.

Earlier, keynote address was delivered by EAC Chiephobozou, Dziesengunuo Mere while concluding thoughts was shared by ADC Chiephobozou, Vekhoyi Chakhesang, 

It may be noted that books in the library are sourced from donations and the collection consists of recreational and educational books for school children, competitive exam books and materials for aspirants preparing for competitive exams and section of books by Naga authors. 

The library is also replete with a computer and printer set for those who want to scan/print sections/parts of the books. 


Launched on December 3,1990. Nagaland Post is the first and highest circulated newspaper of Nagaland state. Nagaland Post is also the first newspaper in Nagaland to be published in multi-colour.
