CM, NDPP condole

Nagaland chief minister Neiphiu Rio has expressed shock over the demise of late Nchumo Kikon on October 29 in Dimapur, after a brief illness.   In his condolence message, the chief minister said that Kikon’s demise was an immense and irreplaceable loss to his family, the party and the community as a whole. Rio also conveyed heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family members.

NDPP senior vice president Charlie Sekhose  & Dimapur region in- charge & convenor and the NDPP Dimapur also expressed shock and sorrow over the sudden demise of Nchumo Kikon on October 29. 

In a condolence message, NDPP vice president Charlie Sekhose stated that late Nchumo Kikon was co-convenor of Dimapur region and also general secretary of NDPP (CEB) who was actively involved with the activities of the party and had deep concern for the society. Charlie Sekhose stated late Nchumo Kikon is one of the pioneers of the NDPP party and also co-convenor for Dimapur region, adding that the demise of Nchumo Kikon has been a great personal loss and the also the Nagas in general. The NDPP Dimapur region also express pain at losing such a senior leader, who had vast experience and knowledge.  Sekhose on behalf of all rank and file of the NDPP Dimapur region conveyed deepest condolences to his wife and all members of the bereaved family and prayed for strength and solace during the trying time.
