Advisor of Water Resources, Namri Nchang held a consultative meeting with JAC at Jalukie ‘B’ village council hall during his visit on July 15.

A press release by PS to advisor, Iteigong Kauring stated that, speaking at the meeting advisor called on the leaders to stand for the cause of the people without any political colours.
Despite some shortcomings the government was doing its best to provide the various facilities, whereby Namri said that every individual needed to be more obedient and disciplined. He further asked the youth leaders to educate the uneducated youths instead of leading them on the wrong path, and not to politicise the issue at any cost because COVID-19 was not “a political cause or problems” but involved lives to be saved.
Cautioning that stigmatisation may yield bitter result, Namri called upon the members to stand by the truth and to “differentiate the virtuous if so we deserve to be in a better place.”
He also reminded that with love and endurance of the hardships faced, everyone should work together to overcome the deadly pandemic. He further congratulated the JAC members for their tireless efforts and asked them to continue the good work with more cooperation and coordination, so the district can become a safer place.
Retd. SP and former candidate NDPP, 7th Peren, Iherie Ndang also spoke briefly at the meeting and called for collective good work leaving no room for any disastrous acts.
Earlier, meeting was chaired by JAC convenor, Dr. Tumda Newme and attended by members of JAC, leaders from various churches’ associations and public leaders.
