Consultative meetings held by NDPP in Mon, Sanphure

Nationalist Democratic Progressive Party (NDPP), Mon region held a consultative meeting on October 8, attended by presidents, general secretaries of all assembly constituencies under Mon and presidents of youth and women organisations including nine central executive committee members representing all A/Cs under Mon region.

A press release by NDPP Mon region president, S. Khoiwang Wangsa stated that, the house resolved to support the consensus PDA candidates morally in the forthcoming by-election. It also resolved to support the stand of the state government for early solution to the long protracted Naga political issue. House further resolved to commence and complete the office building construction of Mon region by the end of 2021 and to continue the practice of observing Tuesday and Friday as working days and to attend office on the mentioned days mandatorily. Advisors Pohwang Konyak and Bongkhao Konyak also encouraged the party workers to dedicate themselves and keep working for the upliftment of the party.

 The meeting was led by Chingao Konyak, general secretary, NDPP, Nagaland, convenor, Mon region along with Tongang Konyak, secretary, NDPP Nagaland, Angtong Konyak, joint secretary, NDPP, Nagaland and Nginyeih Konyak, secretary, Women Organisation, NDPP, Nagaland. NDPP, Mon region expressed gratitude to chief minister Neiphiu Rio and minister of Health and Family Welfare for their bold decision to establish Medical College in Mon district.

NDPP Kiphire: NPF Sanphure village unit under 59A/C held a meeting on October 11 led by its party chairman Lenthuro Sangtam in the presence of NDPP Kiphire region vice president, Pongathe Jingru. 

A press release by NDPP Kiphire region general secretary, Atsoba Anar stated that, the meeting unanimously resolved and declared to strengthen the leadership of chief minister Neiphiu Rio, president NDPP Nagaland Chingwang Konyak and advisor to CM & secretary general NDPP, Abu Metha.
