Quarantine inmates at Dimapur Government College (DGC) comprising of 142 females and 95 males planted trees and collectively donated money to the management of the centre, namely Dimapur Area Ao Baptist Churches and Dimapur based Ao civil societies who had been managing from their own resources for the last 19 days since June 1. 

A press release from the DGC centre stated that, 237 inmates in three quarantine centres at DGC planted about hundred saplings in the college campus on June 5, in commemoration of the World Environment Day. Most of them were from Goa and all of them had tested negative. 

The inmates also did voluntary cleaning jobs inside and outside the buildings. The catering in these quarantine centres were looked after by mothers under the aegis of Dimapur Watsü Telongjem, while the pastors from the respective Ao Baptist Churches in Dimapur area shared the word of God every morning and evening with those in quarantine.
