DHD, NHAK to resume normal OPD services

District Hospital Dimapur (DHD), medical superintendent (MS), Dr. Keveduyi Theyo has informed that the hospital will resume non-COVID essential healthcare services from September 21. As precautionary measures and to reduce the potential risk of exposure to healthcare workers and to ensure the safety of all the patients and attendants, MS further informed that any patient coming from neighbouring states, seeking medical services, are to provide COVID-19 negative test report done within 14 days and identification proof/Adhaar card to ascertain the place of origin.

NHAK: Naga Hospital Authority Kohima will also be resuming normal OPD services for the public from September 21. Sources informed that Outpatient Department (OPD) will begin functioning from Monday onwards. In this regard a mass social work was carried out on Saturday at the hospital. Sources also informed that there were at least around 9 Covid positive patients kept in the Isolation ward.
