Dolamara lockdown from tomorrow

Dolamara town of Karbi Anglong district will observe total lock down for seven days from July 22 in response to the call given by Dolamara Bazar committee. This measure has been takens to stop spread of Covid-19 in the area as community transmission has begun in surrounding areas. Supply and sale of fish, chicken, pork, etc will be totally banned during lock down. However, emergency services, construction work and tea garden activity have been exempted.  Meanwhile, the total number of covid-19 positive cases in Karbi Anglong has reached 272 with 238 discharged and 31 active cases.
