ENPO to host ‘historic summit’ on November 10

Eastern Nagaland Peoples’ Organization (ENPO) on Saturday informed that the organization is scheduled to hold another “historic summit” on November 10 at Tobu Town.

According to media cell of ENPO, the summit, which is expected to be attended by duly authorized representatives of all Naga political groups from Eastern Nagaland including CKS, KTC, KU, PPC, USLP, YTC, ENLU, ENGOA, ENWO, ENSF, ENGBU and ENDBU, ENPO will jointly reaffirm the December 18, 2007 “Tuensang Summit Resolution”. 

ENPO reminded that the Tuensang Resolution stated that-- “There should be no bloodshed, threat, intimidation or any form of violence within ENPO jurisdiction.”

ENPO said that in addition, another important resolution was likely be incorporated in order to avoid any form of violence pre and post Naga political solution both amongst the groups/factions, and on ENPO & tribal leaders and on innocent public.

In this regard, ENPO said that the summit would be a prayerful call to the Naga national workers from Eastern Nagaland to seriously deliberate on peace and tranquility pre and post Naga political solution.
