Father of addl CS passes away: CM mourns

 State chief minister Neiphiu Rio and officers and staff of Nagaland house New Delhi have expressed grief over the demise of Dr. Ravindra Nath Srivastava, father of additional chief secretary & resident commissioner of Nagaland house New Delhi, Jyoti Kalash. 

In a condolence note, Rio said that the demise of Dr. Srivastava was a great loss to the literary community of the country and the vacuum created would be deeply felt by all.

The chief minister said that late Dr. Srivastava would continue to live in the midst of people through the numerous books he had authored.

Further, Rio conveyed condolences to the bereaved family members and prayed for God to grant them strength to bear with the irreparable loss.

Officers and staff of Nagaland house New Delhi said that late Dr. Ravindra Nath Srivastava was a renowned Hindi poet and writer who was a recipient of the Padma Shree award.

They said that late Srivastava was a dedicated writer and his contribution towards uplifting the Indian literature in Hindi would be remembered and missed by all especially those who were closely associated with him.

Further, the officers and staff conveyed their condolences to the bereaved family members and prayed for the Almighty to grant them solace as the departed soul rests in eternal peace.
