Gov, CM extend festive greetings

Nagaland governor RN Ravi has extended Chaga Gadi greetings to the Liangmai community and prayed that the fundamental essence of the festival such as love, respect, peace and harmony prevail among all sections of the people. In his message, Ravi urged the youth to preserve the beautiful culture displayed in the form of folk songs, dances and traditional sports while also understanding and appreciating the underlying ancient philosophies.

Also, extending Eid-E-Milad greetings to the people, Ravi called upon all to celebrate this important festival safely, observing all Covid protocols and prayed that this auspicious occasion “continue to usher us towards virtue, peace and unity.”
State chief minister Neiphiu Rio also conveyed good wishes on the occasion of Eid Milad Un Nabi. He expressed hope the day bring abundance of blessings and happiness. Rio also greeted the Liangmai and Zeme community on the occasion of Chaga Gadi and Lamsimnyi. Rio prayed that the festivals bring abundance of blessings of good health, happiness and peace and foster spirit of togetherness and unity.
