A day after holding an interaction-cum-consultative meeting with Church leaders of various Christian denominations of Nagaland, the Nagaland governor RN Ravi Tuesday met with the leaders of various sects and faith-based organisations of Nagaland at Dr. Imkongliba Hall, Raj Bhavan and discussed the COVID-19 situation in the State.

According to a Raj Bhavan statement, the governor told leaders of Hindu, Muslim, Jain, Sikh, Buddhist and Indigenous faiths that such an extraordinary situation called for concerted efforts of every individual, every section of the society, every faith and every community.
Governor urged the faith leaders to rise up to the occasion and proactively make people more conscious for strict adherence to COVID-19 appropriate protocols and encourage the eligible people for vaccination.
Governor expressed gratitude to the faith leaders for their valuable suggestions and assured them to take up with the state government for further action.
