Concerned AYUSH Doctors Association Nagaland (CADAN) has urged the state health and family welfare (H&FW) department to uphold the November 2, 2020 Gauhati High Court, Kohima Bench judgement that directed requisition of 21 AYUSH medical officer post to the Nagaland Public Service Commission (NPSC).

CADN through its media cell that concerned AYUSH doctors had approached the High Court for filling 21 post of AYUSH medical officers through NPSC.

They said the High Court did not interfere with the present recruitment process since the appointment were for a period of only one year, but categorically directed requisition 21 AYUSH medical officer post to NPSC within 6 months from Number 2, 2020 so NPSC could start taking steps for regular recruitment and thereafter make appointment immediately on the expiry of one year period from the issuance of appointment orders pursuant to the present recruitment process.

CADN said a copy of the judgement and letter had also been sent and received by chief secretary, commissioner & secretary H&FW and principal director H&FW.

Concerned AYUSH doctors expressed hope that the department would uphold the court judgement and take necessary actions based on the judgement passed at the earliest.
