Health centres inspected at Peducha village

Keneizhakho Nakhro, MLA, visited Peducha sub-centre at Peducha village in Kohima district on January 22.

A press release by the organisers stated that, Nakhro while interacting with youth organisation, village elders, Panchayat members and staff said that everyone can play an important role in spreading the message on good health care system.

Nakhro urged the village authority to monitor the functioning of the sub-centre, coordinate and cooperate with health personnel for its smooth and efficient functioning.

Dokho Vielie, chairman of Peducha village mentioned that Peducha sub-centre has been functioning without compounder as of now. He also said that an ambulance was required to attend any emergency as the village lies on National Highway-29.

Earlier, MLA also inspected various primary healthcare centres, sub-centers and health & wellness centres in rural areas under 8th Western Angami A/C. He interacted with doctors, staff and villagers to strengthen the health care delivery system within the constituency.
