Hoshepu Range Puplic Organisation (HRPO) through a “public representation” has aired the grievances faced by the people of the area and urged the state government to take up the matter on top priority based on the historical grounds.

The signatories- HRPO chairman, V.C Hokuto Chishi; Ghokiho Zhimomi, Akukatou Khewoto Village   and G. Zhekuto Zhimomi,  Akukau Khekiye Village, on behalf of the HRPO,  claimed that the upgrading of EAC post was considered by the government and was inaugurated on December 6, 2012 but no officer has been posted till date. In this regard, the signatories urged the competent authority that the required staff be posted at the earliest and also the strength of the DBs be reinstated. They claimed that strength of DBs was reduced to three from five.
Another grievance, according to the signatories was that the formerly NAP out post to assist Sr. Area superintendent administration has been lifted by the district administration. It therefore, appealed that the security personnel be reviewed and reinstated for security reason.
The signatories also pointed out that the present medical sub-centre was one of the earliest established in 1968 and was manned by a compounder. Since the sub-centre has fulfilled the criteria, it urged the responsible authority for upgrading the sub-centre to PHC, so that the long cherished dream of the people can be fulfilled. Lastly, the signatories appealed to the competent authority to construct a resting shed annexed to the EAC office or monolith under the common pool fund of the district planning and local area development fund.
