In pursuance of Rule 3(b) and Rule 3(1) of ministry of Road Transport and Highways Notification NO. G.S.R. 653(E) dated 23.09.2021 and in the interest of public service, the governor of Nagaland nominated the administrative head of department, Transport, as appellate authority and transport commissioner, Nagaland as registration authority with immediate effect.

Launched on December 3, 1990. Nagaland Post is the first and highest circulated newspaper of Nagaland state. Nagaland Post is also the first newspaper in Nagaland to be published in multi-colour.
