All Nagaland Hindi Teachers’ Union (ANHTU) units demand the release of salary

All Nagaland Hindi Teachers’ Union (ANHTU) Dimapur Unit while lamenting four months delay of salary of the Hindi Teacher’s 2012-13 batch has asked the school education department to release the same.
In a press release, ANTHU Dimapur unit president Petemo Lotha and general secretary, H. Daniel Sema said the finance department had signed for the disbursement of salary three weeks back but the same was not been released.
In this regard, the unit has urged the department to look into the matter at the earliest and disburse the salary of Hindi teachers as they are facing lots of hardship and financial crises.
Meanwhile, ANHTU Mokokchung unit has asked the state government, particularly the Education department to release pending salaries from November 2021- January 2022 along with arrear of CSS batch (2012-15).
A press release from ANHTU Mokokchung unit president Chuba Naxi and general secretary Atila stated that unlike other government servants, teachers were performing their noble job solely depending on their salaries.
ANHTU Mokokchung unit further stated that this showed the “non-importance of teaching community.”
