BJYM Dimapur unit holds district executive meeting

RESOLVES TO RE-STRENGTHEN THE ORGANIZATION FOR NEXT ASSEMBLY POLLS

Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha (BJYM) Dimapur district has resolved to re-strengthen the organisation down to the booth level for the upcoming state general election 2023.
BJYM Dimapur held its district executive meeting here Saturday, at Rongmei customary court, Chungaizaeng Rongmei colony, Burma camp. During the meeting, the house unanimously adopted four resolutions.
The house resolved to re-strengthen the organisation down to the booth level for the upcoming state general elections 2023, and ensure to reach out to the people with the motto “Sab ka saath, sab ka vikas, sab ka vishwas aur sab ka prayas”.
Additionally, the house also resolved to initiate various activities as directed by BJP Nagaland on priority basis. BJYM Dimapur district also resolves to coordinate and cooperate with all the state morchas, mandals and extend assistance in various activities whenever required. BJYM resolved to adhere to its directives under the dynamic leadership of BJYM president, Hosheto Awomi. Furthermore, house resolved to firmly comply with the resolution adopted during the state BJYM executive meeting, 2022.
The resolution was moved by BJYM, mandal president, 1 Dimapur-1, Titus Kath and seconded by BJYM mandal president, 3 Dimapur-3, Kakivi Yepthomi.
Earlier, speaking at the meeting as special guest, advisor, Power, H Tovihoto Ayemi mentioned that the sole purpose of BJYM was to involve the youth of the nation stating that it is a platform, a forum where the youth could voice out giving chance to actively participate in nation building. Stating that as per 2020-2022 data, there was an approximated population of 1.3 billion, where 50 percent of the population of India is under 25 years of age and 65 percent of population is under 35 years of age showing that the youth consisted of the majority population.
Ayemi therefore asserted that youth has a major role to play in socio-political or in any platform for overall development as they are the future. He then encouraged all BJYM, Yova Morchas, and Karyakartas to unite and work together, to be proactive and assist the people and help them avail the central schemes.
At the programme, short speeches were delivered by BJYM Nagaland state president, Hosheto Awomi, BJP Dimapur district president, Tokuho Suhoi Neho.
Programme was chaired by BJYM Dimapur district secretary, Heli Chishi, presidential address was delivered by BJYM Dimapur district president, Shiyeto Wotsa and later, vote of thanks was delivered by BJYM secretary, Ketholezo Makritsu.
