Condolence messages on demise of late Lungalang

Organisations have conveyed condolences on the demise of senior NSCN (I-M) leader, A.K. Lungalang, who was a member of collective leadership. Late Lungalang passed away at a private hospital in Dimapur on May 13 after prolonged illness.
AZSU (AMN): All Zeliangrong Student’s Union (Assam, Manipur and Nagaland) has expressed deep sadness at the sudden demise of “legendry” Zeliangrong Naga leader A.K. Lungalangof NSCN (I-M).
In a condolence message, AZSU (AMN) said late Lungalan he served as a social activist from 1960 to 1962 and later joined the “Naga national movement” since 1962 till his last.
AZSU (AMN) said late Lungalang’s services and sacrifices with sincerity in so many different ways for the Zeliangrong community and Nagas in large shall be remembered by every young and old Zeliangrong Nagas.
The union while deeply regretting his demise said there was none to replace the vacuum created by his death.
Further, AZSU (AMN) has conveyed condolences to the bereaved family members and prayed for the great leader to rest in peace.
TUD: Tenyimi Union Dimapur (TUD) while expressing deep pain at the demise of Naga leader, late A.K. Lungalang said he was a visionary leader who scarified his life for the cause of the “Naga freedom struggle”.
In a condolence message, the union said his contributions and achievements in nation building shall be cherished by all the Nagas, particularly Tenyimi family. TUD said his demise has left a huge vacuum which would be difficult to be filled.
Further, TUD has conveyed deepest condolences to the bereaved family and prayed that the Almighty God comforts them at this hour of grief and sorrow.
