DC Peren laments absence of officers at DPDB meeting

Deputy commissioner (DC) Peren, Vineet Kumar on Wednesday, lamented the public complaints with regard to absence of officers in the station.
According to a DIPR report, the DC was speaking at the District Planning and Development Board (DPDB) meeting for the month of July in the Conference Hall of the DC, Peren.
Delivering the concluding remark, he said that bringing changes in the district required the effort from all the DPDB members.
Pointing out that the presence of officers would bring differences in the functioning of the district, he appealed to the officers to be available in their respective posting place to ensure smooth functioning of the office and to provide the best services to people.
At the meeting, agenda for proposal of grant-in-aid for urinal shed and safe drinking water facility at Baptist High School, Tening was approved to be forwarded to the higher-ups for further action.
With regard to the agenda on monsoon preparedness of Peren district, officials from R&B, F&CS, Agriculture, Veterinary, Medical, PHE, and PWD (Housing) departments shared their preparedness level if any eventualities arose.
They departments also addressed the issues they were facing.
Other agendas discussed included—frequent failure of power in Tening town and vacant post of headmaster at GHS, Tening.
