In view of the “Har Ghar Tiranga” campaign, deputy commissioner Zunheboto has requested public in the district to hoist the tricolour flag in their houses/office buildings from August 13-15, to mark the 75th year of India’s Independence. The rate of the flag is fixed at Rs. 20 as per direction of the central ministry. ULB/town council administrators, BDOs and COs have been informed to organise morning procession/walks by youths/students on August 10, 7 am onwards in all the towns and villages in the district.
